Pianist, singer and multi-instrumentalist
He introduced the piano into Irish and Flamenco music and the trumpet in Celtic music. He created a fusion between Celtic music, jazz and Andalusian Arabian world. The use of his voice ranges from the interpretation of ancient traditional Celtic ballads, Blue grass, latin-american (arranged by him), his own compositions, to sophisticated researches which mingle Gregorian chant, flamenco, Gaelic chant and Arabian reminiscences. He also plays the dulcimer, and the spoons (not only at mealtimes!).

He started to study the piano at the age of 3, and received his piano diploma from the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini of Florence (Italy). He has done classical studies, has a diploma as a herbalist and has developed a big passion for photography, cooking and cinema. He has founded the "International Folk Group", the musical ensemble "Whisky Trail", the centre of tradition and popular research "La radice" (the root), the association "Firenze Jazz". He has done educational activities in Italy and in Switzerland, working with techniques of animation and rhythmic gestural expressiveness described in his book " Ecologia: salviamo anche la musica" (Ecology: let's save music too"). He has lived in Alabama side by side with coloured people, exploring the authentic blues. He has worked with Spanish immigrants in Switzerland, teaching literacy and studying traditions of Iberian minorities. He has lived in Madrid and actively contributed to development of that cultural explosion, that Madrilenian "renaissance" called "Movida". He has lived and still lives in the Basque country and in Ireland. He has worked with outcasts and handicapped people and his music is used all over the world for therapeutic purposes.
