Antoni O'Breskey profile

Antoni O' Breskey, composer, pianist, singer, poly-instrumentalist, poet..., is considered one of the innovators of contemporary music from jazz to minimalism, to the "New classical music". He's a true precursor of so called today "world music", but he doesn't limit himself in the musical categories and definitions...

Antoni O i'ts all about roots.

He believes also in breaking down existing barriers between the various disciplines, roles and peoples. He was the first to introduce the piano into Celtic and Flamenco music. He also created a bridge between ethnic music, Jazz and classical music (especially J. S. Bach).

Antoni O's compositions are gathered together in a unique collection entitled "The Ethnic Piano collection".

Antoni O's definition of Art is all encompassing: "A colourful painting, the sweet words of a poem, the enchanting notes of a song, an inviting plate of spaghetti with a glass of wine, a fisherman's net gleaming with fish, the plough of a farmer digging in the ground... all this is Art and all are part of the symphony of life."
